Insulated rail containers Print E-mail

These units were manufactured in New Zealand and assembled in Adelaide. Specifically designed to withstand the severe conditions encountered during long-distance Rail transportation, the above 22mtr long refrigerated rail containers carry frozen goods (at minus 25C) across the Australian Desert between Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, where the outside ambient frequently reaches plus 45C.

The Fairfax unique fully-moulded one-piece ACT (Advanced Composite Technology) GRP construction provides maximum strength and superior thermal efficiency, ensuring the cargo arrives undamaged and at correct temperature.
